A new star is shining in India’s Under-19 cricket, whose name is Harvansh Singh Pangalia. This young wicketkeeper-batsman made such a blast in a practice match against England Under-19 that everyone has started comparing him to Rishabh Pant.

Harvansh hit an unbeaten 103 runs in just 52 balls, which included 9 skyscraper sixes. Believe me, this innings was no less than a storm.
India’s score in the match was 251/7 in the 36th over, and the situation looked a bit difficult. Then Harvansh came to the crease and along with his partner RS Ambrish, made a brilliant partnership of 126 runs.
Ambarish scored 72 runs in 47 balls, but the real wonder was done by Harvansh. He scored 47 runs in 33 balls and then completed his half-century by hitting a four. But the story did not end here.
Who is Harvansh Singh?
Harvansh is from Gandhidham, a small town in Kutch, Gujarat. His father Damandeep Singh and uncle Kunwarji Ascending(2)jeet Singh were both wicketkeepers, and Harvansh learned wicket-keeping from them. But his inspiration in batting is Yuvraj Singh.
Harvansh’s father says that Harvansh made cricket his dream after watching the video of Yuvraj hitting six sixes against Stuart Broad in the 2007 T20 World Cup.
Today his family lives in Canada, but Harvansh is in India with his mother and has promised his father that he will bring him back to India one day.
Harvansh’s big hitting in the last 3 overs
Harvansh made such a blast in the last three overs that England’s bowlers started sweating. In the 48th over, he hit two consecutive sixes off Manny Lumsden’s balls. In the next over, he also hit a six off Matthew Firbank.
But the real fun came in the last over, when Harvansh completed his century in just 52 balls by hitting a four and three more sixes off Lumsden’s balls. His second half-century came in just 18 balls.
Thanks to this innings, India scored a huge score of 442/9. Harvansh not only surprised everyone with his batting, but also showed that he has the power to shine on the big stage.
Earlier also, he had played a blistering innings of 117 runs in the Youth Test against Australia, which included 7 fours and 6 sixes.
