Lalit Modi shared an old video of this incident recently online. The video showed Harbhajan hitting Sreesanth during a cricket match years ago. People called this incident ‘slapgate’ because of what happened that day.

Singh feels ashamed about his behavior from those early cricket days. He knows he should not have acted that way toward Sreesanth. The cricket player wants everyone to understand his true feelings now clearly.

Harbhajan Takes Full Responsibility for Past Actions

“I feel bad for whatever happened. We were playing, and everyone had things going on in their mind. Mistakes happened, and we do feel ashamed about it,” Harbhajan said.

“Yes, the video has gone viral. It was an unfortunate incident, and I have said on many occasions that I made a mistake. Humans make mistakes, and I did one too. I have requested Lord Ganesh to forgive me if I make a mistake again. Mistakes happen,” he added.

Harbhajan Singh said sorry to Sreesanth many times over the years. He asked for forgiveness from his former teammate repeatedly since that incident. The two cricket players have become friends again after that fight.

Singh believes people should always learn from their mistakes in life. He wants young cricket players to behave better than he did. His honest words show he truly regrets what happened during that match.

The cricket star emphasized that everyone makes mistakes sometimes in life. He hopes his apology helps people understand his current feelings better. Singh wants to set a good example for future cricket generations.

Criticism Against Lalit Modi’s Social Media Post

Singh called out Lalit Modi for posting the old video online recently. Modi brought back a controversy that most people had forgotten completely. Harbhajan feels Modi did this for his own personal benefit only.

“The way the video has been leaked, it’s wrong. It shouldn’t have happened. They might have a selfish motive behind it. Something that happened 18 years ago, people have forgotten, and they are reminding people about it,” Harbhajan said.

The former IPL boss should have kept quiet about this old matter. Singh believes Modi wants to create unnecessary drama in cricket circles. Many fans think Modi’s decision was wrong and hurtful to both players.

Sreesanth’s wife also spoke angrily against Modi’s video post on social media. She feels upset that someone brought back painful memories for families. Both cricket families want to move past this old controversy now.

    Moving Forward from Past Mistakes

Harbhajan now works as a cricket expert on television shows regularly. Young cricket players often ask him for advice about bowling techniques. He teaches them how to behave properly during matches and tournaments.

Sreesanth and Harbhajan sometimes meet at cricket events these days peacefully. They talk normally and support each other’s cricket work when needed. People can see they have put their past fight behind them.
