India won the toss and elected to bat first against Oman at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. This Group A match looks like an easy one for India.

India scored 100/3 in 10 overs, but the spotlight was stolen by our superstar Abhishek Sharma, who smashed 38 runs off just 15 balls, hitting 5 fours, 2 sixes, and a strike rate of 253.33.
These numbers show how dangerous this young man is. But Jiten Ramanandi dismissed him in 7.1 overs.

Abhishek opened the innings and started thrashing the bowlers from the very first over. He hit two fours off Shakeel Ahmed, then that pull shot against Faisal Shah.
Shubman Gill was dismissed early, scoring 5 runs in 1.3 overs off Shah. Sanju Samson then took charge, scoring 37 not out (29 balls, 1 four, 3 sixes, SR 127.59).
Hardik Pandya’s runout was a bit of a setback, run out for 1 run, but Axar Patel is holding on to his nerves with 10* (7 balls, SR 142.86). Extras yielded 9 runs (8 wides).
Oman’s bowlers seem to be struggling to figure out where to bowl. Samay Srivastava’s 2 overs went for 23 runs, while Mohammad Nadeem’s 1 over went for 19 runs.
Faisal Shah took 1 wicket for 8 runs in 2 overs, but the rest were all out.
If India can post a 200+ score, it will be difficult for Oman. Batsmen like Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Verma, and Shivam Dubey are ready to come to the crease.
