The final match of the Asia Cup 2025 is underway at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Pakistan lost the toss and batted first, but their innings was reduced to 146 runs in 19.1 overs.
India performed brilliantly with their bowling, now needing 147 runs in 20 overs.

The innings break is currently underway, and Indian fans are already racing.
Pakistan got off to a great start. Sahibzada Farhan scored 57 runs off 38 balls, including 5 fours and 3 sixes. Fakhar Zaman also scored 46 runs off 35 balls, hitting two fours and a six.
The two shared an 84-run partnership for the third wicket, and it seemed that Pakistan would cross 180. But then, the entire team faltered. Sam Ayub 14, Mohammad Haris 0, Agha Salman 8… That’s it, the middle order collapsed.
The last nine wickets added just 33 runs. Big names like Shaheen Afridi and Faheem Ashraf were dismissed for zero. Seven extra runs were conceded, but they weren’t enough.
Indian bowlers shine, Kuldeep makes a splash
India’s bowling crushed Pakistan. Kuldeep Yadav was the star, taking 4 wickets for 30 runs in 4 overs. Jadeja gave Yashasvi a free hit off a no-ball, but Kuldeep later dismissed Farhan, Ayub, Salman, and Shaheen.
Jasprit Bumrah took 2 wickets for 25 runs in 3.1 overs, dismissing Nawaz and Rauf. Axar Patel also took 2 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs, dismissing Haris and Talat.
Varun Chakravarthy took 2 wickets for Farhan and Zaman. Shivam Dubey and Tilak Verma also bowled economically.
Pakistan scored at a rate of 7.62, but the score stalled as wickets continued to fall. From 113/1 to 146/10, it was a complete collapse.
India’s batting is about to begin. The openers are ready, and chasing 147 runs doesn’t seem like a problem.
Pakistan’s bowlers, like Shaheen and Rauf, are veterans, but their form suggests India can easily win. The match remains tense, but India clearly has the upper hand.
