The Group A match of Asia Cup 2025 was full of excitement between India and Pakistan as always, but this time India won.

In this high-voltage match played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets and made its mark in the tournament.
Pakistan innings: Shaky start, still 127/9
Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first, but the story went wrong as soon as it started. Sam Ayub (0) was run out on the very first ball by Hardik Pandya.
Sahibzada Farhan (40, 44 balls) held on for a while, but the fall of wickets continued.
Shaheen Afridi took the score to 127/9 by hitting 33 runs (4 sixes) in 16 balls. For India, Kuldeep Yadav (3/18) was the man of the moment, while Axar Patel (2/18) and Jasprit Bumrah (2/28) also performed brilliantly.
Pakistan’s run rate was 6.35, which could not create much pressure.
India’s innings: Stormy batting, finished in 15.5 overs
India’s chase was explosive. Abhishek Sharma heated up the atmosphere by scoring 31 runs (4 fours, 2 sixes) in 13 balls.
Sam Ayub sent Shubman Gill (10) and Abhishek to the pavilion, but captain Suryakumar Yadav (47*, 37 balls) and Tilak Verma (31) did not hurry.
Shivam Dubey (10*) finally hit a six to seal the victory by scoring 131/3 in 15.5 overs. Run rate was 8.27!
Ayub (3/35) tried, but the rest of the bowlers were ineffective.
This amazing victory of India strengthened its position in Group A, whereas Pakistan will now have to gear up for the next matches.
