The Asia Cup 2025 match between India and Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium has become a challenge for the police.

Dubai Police issue strict guidelines for India vs Pakistan match

Ahead of the match on September 14, Dubai Police has issued a strict warning to fans.

Officials have said that any kind of violence, abusive language or racial behavior will not be tolerated in the stadium.

Spectators have been urged to maintain discipline and enjoy the match responsibly.

The police have issued guidelines ahead of the match. The stadium gates will open three hours before and only spectators with valid tickets will get entry. Re-entry will not be allowed, so use the parking areas.

The list of banned items includes remote control devices, animals, illegal or toxic substances, power banks, fireworks or flares, laser pointers, glass objects, selfie sticks, monopods, umbrellas, sharp objects, smoking, outside food or drink, flags or banners.

Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, chairman of the Events Security Committee, said:

“Offenders could face one to three months in jail and fines ranging from AED 10,000 to AED 30,000 (approximately PKR 750,000 to 2.3 million).”

Immediate legal action will be taken against violators to ensure a safe atmosphere in the stadium. This match is the first India-Pakistan match since Operation Sindoor was launched in response to the Pahalgam attack in May 2025.

At present, India has the upper hand in terms of cricket. In T20 international matches, India won 9 out of 13 matches, Pakistan won 3 and one was a tie.
