    India defeated Bangladesh by 41 runs in the Super Four match of the Asia Cup 2025.

    In the fourth T20 match played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, India batted first and scored 168/6 in 20 overs.

    In reply, Bangladesh were bowled out for 127 in 19.3 overs. Abhishek Sharma scored a quickfire 75 runs and played a major role in India’s victory.

    Abhishek Sharma created a stir

    In India’s innings, Abhishek Sharma batted aggressively, scoring 75 runs in 37 balls, including 6 fours and 5 sixes. His innings helped India score quickly from the start.

    Shubman Gill also played a useful innings of 29 runs. However, captain Suryakumar Yadav was dismissed for just 5 runs.

    Hardik Pandya scored 38 runs to take the score to 168. Rishad Hussain took 2 wickets for Bangladesh.

    Bowlers bundle out Bangladesh

    India’s bowlers performed brilliantly. Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets for just 18 runs in 4 overs, while Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy took 2 wickets each.

    For Bangladesh, Saif Hasan played a brilliant inning of 69 runs, but the team fell short of the target due to lack of support from the other batsmen.

    India’s victory strengthened their position in the Super Four and their dominance in the tournament, boosting their confidence for the next match.

    Bangladesh will now hope to bounce back in their next match against Pakistan.
