    In Group B of Asia Cup 2025, a match was played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

    This match was so exciting that the breath stopped till the last over.

    Asia Cup 2025: Bangladesh vs Afghanistan Highlights

    Bangladesh, batting first, scored 154 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Tanjid Hasan hit a brilliant 52 runs, which included 4 fours and 3 sixes. Saif Hasan scored 30, Tauheed Hridoy added 26 runs.

    Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmed took 2-2 wickets for Afghanistan.

    When Afghanistan started batting, it seemed like an easy target, but Bangladesh bowlers did wonders.

    Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 35 runs, Azamtullah Omarzai played a quick innings of 30 runs which included 3 sixes. But Mustafizur Rahman broke the back of Afghanistan by taking 3 wickets.

    Nasum Ahmed and Rishad Hussain also took 2 wickets each. After 19 overs, Afghanistan was at 133/9, and needed 22 runs in the last over. 22 runs in just 6 balls! It seemed impossible.

    Still Rashid Khan played a captaincy innings of 20 runs, but in the end Bangladesh won the match. Bangladesh had chosen to bat after winning the toss, and their decision proved right.

    This victory makes Bangladesh stronger in the group. Afghanistan fans will be a little disappointed, but their struggle was commendable.
