In Jio Hotstar’s show “Champions Wali Feeling Phir Se”, Rohit Sharma Ex captain of the Indian cricket team refreshed the memories of T20 World Cup 2024.

India defeated South Africa at Kensington Oval in Barbados to win the T20 World Cup title after 17 years.
Rohit said, “That pitch, that atmosphere… Barbados will always be in my veins!”
This victory was no ordinary victory. India did not lose a single match in the entire tournament. The team showed its strength in every match. But the most talked about was that high-voltage match between India and Pakistan.
Rohit said, “The atmosphere was hot two days before the match. Fans all around, security, it felt like a festival.”
In that match, India defeated Pakistan by just 6 runs.
Batting first, India scored only 119 runs. Kohli, Rohit and Akshar lost their wickets early, but Rishabh Pant played a brilliant innings of 42 runs in 31 balls and took charge of the team.
Rohit said laughingly, “42 runs on that pitch meant 70 runs!”
Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh did wonders in bowling. Bumrah took 3 wickets for 14 runs and became the Player of the Match.
Rohit called Bumrah a “weapon” and said, “He takes wickets and also stops runs.”
