Bumrah continues to perform despite injury
An exciting incident took place during the match when a serious injury to Bumrah was anticipated in the 81st over. Travis Head sent a 132.6 kph delivery to the boundary, and then Bumrah looked a bit troubled.
The physio immediately rushed to the ground and checked the fast bowler. Bumrah was holding on to his adductor muscle, which was a worrying sign.
But Bumrah again showed his extraordinary mental strength. After a short treatment, he stood up without any trouble and completed his over. And not only that, in the 85th over, he showed his ability once again by dismissing Australian captain Pat Cummins.
Morne Morkel highlighted the incident and said, “Firstly, Bumrah is absolutely fine. He only had a little cramp during the 81st over. Even after that incident, he kept bowling and got important wickets for us. Test cricket is a tough ground with no place to hide.”

Morkel also shared his views on the team’s performance. “There was a lot of improvement in bowling on the second day compared to the first day. However, Travis Head turned the match on its head with his aggressive batting.
