The BCCI has made some explosive changes in the schedule for the 2025 domestic season.
India is scheduled to play Tests, ODIs and T20s against West Indies and South Africa this year, but now the venues of some big Test matches have changed.

What changes have been made in the schedule of Test matches?
The two-Test series between India and West Indies will start from October 2 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. But the second Test, which was earlier scheduled to be held at Eden Gardens in Kolkata from October 10,
has now shifted to Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Yes, Delhiites should be ready, there will be a tadka of cricket from October 10 to 14!
At the same time, the first Test match between India and South Africa, which was earlier scheduled to be held in Delhi from November 14, will now be played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The second Test will be held in Guwahati from November 22 to 26, which will be Guwahati’s first Test match.
Talking about the reason for these changes, it is being said that BCCI has taken this step to avoid the problem of smog and pollution in Delhi during November.

No change in ODI and T20
There is no change in the venue of ODI and T20 series against South Africa. Three ODI matches will be held in Ranchi (30 November), Raipur (3 December) and Visakhapatnam (6 December).
After this, five T20 matches will be played in Cuttack, Mullanpur, Dharamshala, Lucknow and Ahmedabad from 9 to 19 December.
Matches of India A and South Africa A also shifted
BCCI has also changed the venue of three ODI matches between India A and South Africa A.
These matches were earlier to be held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, but now they will be played at Saurashtra Cricket Stadium in Rajkot.
Change in women’s cricket too
There has been a slight change in women’s cricket too. The ODI series between India and Australia women’s teams will be shifted from Chennai to New Chandigarh and Delhi as outfield work is going on at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
