Pandit decided he wants to do something different now. KKR management announced this to everyone on July 29, 2025 about his departure. The coach worked really hard for three years with the team.

KKR won the IPL trophy in 2024 because of Pandit’s smart coaching. But this year was totally different for the purple team.

    Pandit’s Tough Decision

The coach felt tired after working so hard every single day. He started coaching KKR back in August 2022 when things looked difficult. Players had to follow very strict rules under his guidance.

We wish you the best for your future endeavours, Chandu Sir 🤗

IPL 2025 went badly for KKR, and they missed the playoffs completely. Fans felt sad watching their favorite team lose important matches. Even Pandit looked worried during those tough games.

Chandrakant Pandit steps down as Head Coach because he thinks it’s the right time. His coaching was super strict, and players worked really hard. Some players found his training methods quite challenging to follow.

    His Amazing Cricket Journey

Pandit played cricket for India long ago in the 1980s. He played five Test matches and thirty-six ODI games back then. Those days were different, and cricket was less popular than it is today.

Later, he became a successful coach for many teams across India. Mumbai and Vidarbha won big tournaments under his excellent coaching skills. Madhya Pradesh also got its first Ranji Trophy because of his coaching.

    KKR’s Next Steps

Now, KKR owners must find a new coach quickly before next season. They want someone who can make players happy and win matches. Finding good coaches takes time and lots of careful thinking.

Pandit will probably coach another team soon because he loves cricket. KKR fans hope their new coach brings more trophies home.
