Something happened on Tuesday evening at Arthunkal Beach in Kerala that left everyone stunned. South African cricket legend Jonty Rhodes was vacationing with his family.
Some local youths were playing cricket outside the hotel. Jonty saw them, stopped, and spoke to the boys.

“Come on, let’s have some fun!”
Then he took his bat and hit shots on the sand.
A local coach said that Jonty taught the children to never give up when fielding. Playing on sand is difficult, but Jonty showed them how to maintain balance.
This video spread like wildfire on social media, revitalizing the cricket scene in Kerala. The Artunkal Cricket Club is now working harder.
Jonty inspired the children that anything is possible with hard work and passion. This fun-filled meeting of theirs will inspire the youth of Kerala for a long time.
