Indian cricketer KL Rahul has acquired a stake in the Goa Guardians franchise ahead of the fourth season of the Prime Volleyball League (PVL).
The league is scheduled to be held in Hyderabad from October 2 to 26, 2025.
Rahul’s goal is to give volleyball the love and recognition it deserves in India. He wants more people to watch and participate in the sport.

Rahul said on this occasion, “It feels like a full circle moment for me. PVL is a game-changer for the sport in India.
The big thing is to bring volleyball into the spotlight and give it screen time so more people can watch and fall in love with the game.”
Volleyball has always been special to him. He wants to lend his voice and support to make it even more popular.
The Goa Guardians will be playing for the first time this season and will compete against other top franchises in a high-energy format for TV and digital audiences.

Raju Chekuri, the main owner of the Goa Guardians and founder of NetEnrich, expressed his delight at Rahul’s arrival.

Rahul’s addition will invigorate the team, and the Goa Guardians are set to make a fresh start this season.
