India has blocked social media accounts of Pakistani cricketers and actresses again. This happened on Friday, July 4, 2025, after a short break. The government had allowed these accounts to work for three months. Now people in India cannot see their posts anymore.

Pakistani Cricketers' and Actors' Social Media Blocked Again in India

Famous Pakistani cricketers like Shoaib Akhtar and Rashid Latif got blocked. Popular actresses Saba Qamar and Mawra Hocane also face the same problem. These celebrities had millions of followers from India who enjoyed their content.

The Indian government says these accounts shared wrong information about India. They worry these posts might cause problems between the two countries. Security officials think some content is dangerous for India’s safety.

Government Explains Why They Blocked These Accounts

The Ministry of Home Affairs made this decision after checking their posts. They found some content that they did not like at all. The government believes these Pakistani stars said bad things about India.

Officials say they want to protect Indian people from harmful messages. They think some Pakistani celebrities were spreading lies about India. The government will keep blocking accounts that share wrong information.

Many Pakistani Channels Also Cannot Work in India

Sixteen Pakistani YouTube channels remained blocked in India for many months. Famous news channels like Dawn News TV and ARY News cannot work. Geo News and other popular channels also face the same restrictions.
