Reports of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s move to the UK are currently making waves on social media.
Several media reports claimed that Virat has handed over the general power of attorney of his ₹80 crore Gurugram bungalow to his brother, Vikas Kohli.

This led to speculation that he was permanently relocating to the UK with Anushka and their children, Vamika and Akay.
But now the family has broken its silence on these reports and clarified that these are all rumors.
What did Vikas Kohli’s brother say?
Virat’s brother, Vikas Kohli, dismissed these rumors and wrote on his Instagram story,
“I am not surprised about so much misinformation and fake news going around these days… Some people are so free and have lots of time to do so… Good luck to you guys.”
Vikas clearly stated that those spreading such news are spreading baseless rumors. He criticized the media, calling these reports completely false.
In fact, Virat recently visited his family in Delhi and is now preparing to play the ODI series for India in Australia.
Virat is currently in Australia for the three-match ODI series in Perth. This is his first international tournament since winning the ICC Champions Trophy in Dubai last year.
On the other hand, Anushka has been in London with their children since the beginning of this year. When Virat is free from cricket, he is seen spending time with Anushka in London.
The two also shared a selfie from London last month, in which they were seen wearing winter coats.
Virat captioned the photo, “One minute is over.” This also fueled speculation among fans.
What is the truth behind the power of attorney?
According to reports, Virat has given his brother the general power of attorney for his Gurugram bungalow worth ₹80 crore (approximately $1.8 billion), under which Vikas has been given the responsibility of the property’s maintenance, management, and other duties.
This often happens when people live abroad for a long time. But this doesn’t mean that Virat and Anushka have left India and settled in the UK permanently.
Virat and Anushka have not yet made any official statement regarding their permanent move to the UK.
On the other hand, Anushka is awaiting the release of her sports film Chakda Express, a biopic of cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
