James Coles Becomes Highest-Paid Player
21-year-old James Coles topped the Hundred Auction 2026 surprisingly! London Spirit paid £390,000 for the Sussex all-rounder. That’s the biggest contract in Hundred history ever!
Jordan Cox went to Welsh Fire for £300,000 next. Tom Curran joined MI London for £260,000. Adil Rashid signed with Southern Brave for £250,000 afterward.
Joe Root commanded £240,000 from Manchester Super Giants impressively! The legendary batter still attracts massive bids despite age. Dan Lawrence went to Sunrisers Leeds for £210,000 too.
Overseas Stars and Pakistani Players
Aiden Markram became the most expensive overseas player at £200,000! Manchester Super Giants grabbed the South African captain eagerly. James Vince joined MI London for £190,000.
Pakistani spinner Abrar Ahmed went to Sunrisers Leeds for £190,000! That signing created massive controversy among Indian fans immediately. Usman Tariq also got picked ending Pakistani player speculation.
