    The first quarter-final match of Duleep Trophy 2025 is going on in Bengaluru, and what an amazing match it is, North Zone has defeated East Zone badly.

    At the end of the third day’s play, North Zone is in a strong position with a huge lead of 563 runs. East Zone won the toss and chose to bowl first, but the North Zone batsmen gave them a tough time.

    North Zone scored 405 runs in the first innings. Captain Ankit Kumar scored 30 runs, but the star performers were Ayush Badoni’s 63 runs and Kanhaiya Wadhawan’s 76 runs. Aaqib Nabi also played a quick innings of 44 runs.

    Manishi did wonders for East Zone, taking 6 wickets. But East Zone’s batting flopped. They scored only 230 runs. Virat Singh scored the highest 68 runs, Riyan Parag scored 43 runs.

    North Zone’s Aaqib Nabi made a blast, taking 5 wickets and bowled out East Zone in 56.1 overs.

    North Zone added more fire in the second innings. Captain Ankit Kumar is unbeaten on 176 runs, Yash Dhul hit 123 runs. Ayush Badoni is unbeaten on 63 runs.

    Total 388/2 at stumps. East Zone bowlers got tired, got only 2 wickets – one to Riyan Parag and one to Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal.

    Duleep Trophy 2025: Explosive batting

    This is the turning point of the match, where North Zone took the lead to 563 runs. Fans are saying that North Zone is now close to winning the match, but anything can happen in cricket.

    East Zone needs a miracle on the fourth day. If they are not able to chase the big score, then North Zone will enter the semi-finals.
