    The first quarter-final match of Duleep Trophy 2025 was played between North Zone and East Zone in Bengaluru, and what an amazing contest it was.

    Duleep Trophy 2025: East Zone vs North Zone

    In this match which started on 28th August, East Zone won the toss and chose to bowl first, but North Zone surprised everyone with explosive batting.

    The match was drawn, but looking at the score it seems as if a Bollywood movie is running – high scores, rain of wickets and shining stars!

    North Zone scored 405 runs in the first innings. Captain Ankit Kumar scored 30 runs, but Ayush Badoni’s innings of 63 runs strengthened the team. Kanhaiya Wadhawan hit 76 runs, and Aaqib Nabi played a quick innings of 44 runs.

    East Zone’s Manishi bowled brilliantly and took 6 wickets. Look at the fall of wickets, Arshdeep Singh on the last wicket got applause by hitting two sixes in 12 runs.

    East Zone was all out for 230 runs in the first innings. Virat Singh played a brilliant innings of 69 runs, but Aaqib Nabi came out on fire and demolished East by taking 5 wickets. Riyan Parag scored 39 runs, but the team could not last long. Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh also bowled well.

    Now in the second innings, North Zone made a blast, declaring at 658/4. Ankit Kumar played a marathon innings of 198 runs, Yash Dhull hit 133 runs, and Ayush Badoni became the star by scoring an unbeaten 204 runs.

    Nishant Sindhu added 68 runs. East Zone bowlers got tired, Muktar Hussain took 1 wicket, but the score became so big that the match ended in a draw.
