Team India’s new superstar Yashasvi Jaiswal remains in the news for his batting as well as his bindaas style. Last year, in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, Yashasvi did something that surprised everyone.

Especially his fierce fight with Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc, which is still on people’s tongues.
And now, months later, Australian legend Adam Gilchrist brought Yashasvi back into the limelight by taking a dig at this incident.
“You are bowling very slowly” Starc Bold reply
This incident is from the Perth Test, where Yashasvi was in his full form. After hitting a four off Starc’s ball, Yashasvi fearlessly interrupted Starc, “You are bowling very slowly!” Starc replied to this with a sly smile.
Although Yashasvi scored a brilliant century in that match, in the next Test, Starc settled the score by dismissing him for zero. This hilarious altercation entertained the fans.
Sharp comment by Gilchrist
Now, months later, former Australia wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist recalled the incident and praised Yashasvi, but also made a funny taunt.
In a conversation with Sports Yaari, Gilchrist said,
“Yashasvi is the next big superstar. He just needs to learn a little more. That Starc moment? It was just a good conversation. Every dog has its day, and that day was Yashasvi’s. But Starc caught him back later. That’s the fun of cricket!”
Gilchrist’s “every dog has its day” comment went viral on social media.
While some fans are taking it as a joke, some feel that it was a bit harsh for Yashasvi.
But Yashasvi’s confidence and style remained the same, which made him so popular.
