    MS Dhoni rarely posts on Instagram these days honestly. His last post came back in 2024. But India’s historic win brought him back online!

    Dhoni wrote a beautiful message congratulating the entire team. He praised the support staff and fans worldwide too. Then he addressed Gautam Gambhir directly with warmth.

    “Coach Sahab smile looks great on you,” MS Dhoni wrote playfully. Everyone knows Gambhir usually looks super serious and intense. Dhoni noticed him smiling after the win!

    The Star-Studded Final Celebration

    The final brought together three World Cup-winning captains! Kapil Dev, MS Dhoni, and Rohit Sharma all attended. That’s 1983, 2007, 2011, and 2024 captains present!

    Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni presented the trophy before the match. ICC chairman Jay Shah joined them for that ceremony. Both cheered loudly when India took the final wicket.

    Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, and Abhishek Sharma scored brilliant half-centuries. India posted 255 for 5 in 20 overs total. That’s a massive score in any final!

    Jasprit Bumrah destroyed New Zealand’s batting completely afterward. He took 4 wickets for just 15 runs! New Zealand got bowled out for 159 runs only.

    India became the first team to defend the T20 World Cup title! They also won at home for the first time. MS Dhoni started this journey in 2007 – now he has witnessed the third title!
