Indian cricketer Akash Deep created history by taking 10 wickets in the Edgbaston Test. His bowling was amazing in defeating England by 336 runs.
But more than this victory, his emotional disclosure is in the news, in which he dedicated his victory to his sister Akhand Jyoti Singh who is battling cancer.

Emotional moment: Sister’s pain and Akash’s victory
In a conversation with Aaj Tak, Akhand Jyoti told that she had no idea that Akash would tell the world about her illness.
Jyoti, who is battling third stage cancer, said,
“I had no idea that Akash would say something like this. He got emotional and said all this. This is a big thing for me. This shows how much he loves me and the family.”
Jyoti told that before the England tour, when she went to drop Akash at the airport,
he said, “Don’t worry about me, just play well for the country.”
Akash listened to her and did such magic on the field that won the hearts of the whole country.
Talking on video call after the match, Akash said, “Don’t worry, the whole country is with us.”
Akash’s heart and Jyoti’s courage
Jyoti told that Akash always shares everything with the family.
“He does nothing without talking to us. Papa and brother are no longer in this world, now he is the support of the house.”
Jyoti’s treatment will continue for another six months, and she is very happy with Akash’s performance.
She said, “I was clapping on every wicket. This is a proud moment for me.”
Homemade food and sister’s love
Jyoti is now waiting for Akash to return from England.
She says, “Akash loves my Dahi Vada and green vegetables. When he returns, I will definitely make this for him.”
Akash’s victory not only made cricket fans happy, but also brought a smile on his sister’s face.
