Amidst this uproar, a PCB official came forward and clarified everything. He told that there is no politics in this. Actually, only the flags of the teams that will play matches in Pakistan have been put up in the stadium. Since India will play all its matches in Dubai, their flag was not put up.
The interesting thing is that not only India’s flag but also Bangladesh’s flag is not put up in the stadium. The PCB official said that the Bangladesh team has not reached Pakistan yet. Their first match is also against India in Dubai. When they come to Pakistan, then their flag will also be put up.
Further PCB says that the controversy being created regarding the flags is absolutely useless. He says that by spreading such news some people want to tarnish the image of Pakistan.
ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Tournament schedule
The Champions Trophy 2025 will be played in a unique way. Most of the matches will be held in three cities of Pakistan – Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. But all the matches of India will be played in Dubai. Even if India reaches the semi-finals or finals, those matches will also be held in Dubai.
The first big match of the tournament will be played between India and Bangladesh in Dubai on February 20. After this, the Bangladesh team will go to Pakistan, where they will face New Zealand on February 24.
