The auction date for the fourth season of the International League T20 (ILT20) has finally been revealed.
On July 31, the Emirates Cricket Board announced that the players’ auction will be held in Dubai on September 30, 2025.

ILT Auction: 78 players, budget of $ 4.8 million
The fourth season of ILT20 will start from December 2, 2025 and will run till January 4, 2026. A total of 6 teams will clash in 34 matches, and each team will have 13 players.
That is, a total of 78 players will participate in the auction. Each franchise has a budget of US $ 4.8 million to buy their dream players. That is, this time big stars are going to shine in the bid.

Before the auction, the ACC Asia Cup 2025 to be held in UAE from 9 to 28 September will be a big platform for local players. Here they can play a big bet in the auction by showing their brilliance.

“We are also set to play in the third edition of the DP World ILT20 Development Tournament later this month, which, alongside the Asia Cup, is another platform for local players to impress ahead of the player auction.”

Before the auction, the teams have released their list of retained and new players. Abu Dhabi Knight Riders have stars like Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, while Desert Vipers have stalwarts like Sam Curran and Wanindu Hasaranga.
