After the first day of the first Test between India and England in Leeds, something happened that won the heart of every cricket fan.
The sun was setting at Headingley, and in the last over where most batsmen prefer to play safe, Rishabh Pant made a blast in his own style.
India’s score was 351/3 when Pant danced on Chris Woakes’ ball and hit a skyscraper six over deep square leg.

England captain Ben Stokes just kept smiling, and Woakes’ face clearly showed surprise.
But the real fun happened when Pant returned to the pavilion unbeaten after scoring 65 runs. KL Rahul, standing on the stairs of the dressing room, made such a gesture for him that the video went viral on social media.
Rahul greeted Pant in a funny way with folded hands, as if saying, “Brother, you are amazing!”

This scene was so interesting that BCCI also shared it.
Pant’s stormy innings
Pant scored 65 runs in 91 balls, which included two sixes and seven fours. His style was the same for which he is famous – fearless, bold batting. Even in the last moments of the day, Pant did not let the England bowlers rest.
His innings took India to a score of 359/3 on the first day, in which the brilliant centuries of Yashasvi Jaiswal (101) and captain Shubman Gill (127*) also played a big role.
Rahul also made an opening partnership of 91 runs with Yashasvi by scoring 42 runs in 78 balls at the beginning of the day. Although he missed the half-century, his innings gave India a strong start. On the other hand, debutant Sai Sudarshan did not have a good day.

He got out on zero, but he still has a chance to show his ability in the next innings.
This brilliant innings of Pant not only made the fans present in the stadium dance, but there was a flood of praises on social media as well. Even legends like Gavaskar did not stop praising him.
India pushed England on the backfoot on the first day, and this six of Pant was like a cherry on the cake. Now it remains to be seen how much more trouble Pant and Gill together create for England on the second day.
