The cricket match was crazy today! India fought back hard when things looked bad. Their bowlers didn’t give up even when England was winning. Ben Duckett scored good runs – he made 149!
England needed 371 runs to beat India in this match. Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley walked out to bat together. At first, they hit the ball very carefully and slowly.
After the drinks break, everything changed completely. Both players started smashing the ball everywhere around the ground. Duckett looked like he could hit any ball for runs.
He played some wild shots that nobody expected to see. Those backward hits he did were totally insane! All the England supporters were jumping up and down.

India Kept Fighting Hard
Mohammed Siraj bowled really fast balls right from the start. Poor Zak Crawley couldn’t hit his bowling very easily at all. India’s captain knew they had to get wickets somehow.
Prasidh Krishna then came to bowl and everything went crazy. He got Crawley out which made all India fans scream loudly. Shardul Thakur also bowled well and got two more English batsmen out.
The time after lunch was absolutely bonkers for cricket fans everywhere. England scored 152 runs but lost four of their best batsmen. Everyone was on the edge of their seats watching this.

Rain Tried to Spoil Everything
Some rain fell down but the players kept playing afterwards. England’s batsmen didn’t stop trying to score more runs quickly. The wet ground made bowling much harder for everyone.
India’s bowlers kept running and trying their best every single ball. They never stopped believing they could still win this match.
