Rishabh Pant makes history with two big centuries in one Test. No Indian wicketkeeper ever did what Pant just pulled off. He smashed 134 runs when India batted first at Headingley. Pant came back and hit 118 more runs later. This amazing performance happened during the IND vs ENG 2025 first Test.
Pant felt really happy after creating this new cricket record. He became the first Indian wicketkeeper to score two centuries. The match happened on Day 4 against England at Leeds. Not many Indians did this double-century thing in Tests. Sunil Gavaskar did it way back in the old days, he was there to witness Pant’s dual centuries and clapped for him.
Rahul Dravid got two centuries in one Test too. Virat Kohli also pulled off this tough job once. But Pant is the first wicketkeeper from India to do it.
