Shubman Gill’s stellar 269 runs made cricket history at Edgbaston this week. The young captain scored his first double-century in Test cricket. Former Indian cricketer Kris Srikkanth praised Gill after watching his amazing performance. This was surprising because Srikkanth had criticized Gill many times earlier.

Srikkanth shared his thoughts on social media about Gill’s batting. He called it a “special moment” for Indian cricket fans. The former player even hoped Gill would score 300 runs next time.
