The Indian cricket team’s dominance continues in London, Indian men’s cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir praised the excellent performance in the England series and said that this is a matter of pride for every cricket fan.

At an event at India House in London on Monday
Gambhir thanked the fans and said,
“Touring this part of the world has always been challenging as the history between the two countries can never be forgotten.”
Every match in the ongoing Test series between India and England kept the fans captivated. After the fourth Test in Manchester was drawn, all eyes are now on the fifth and final Test to be held at the Oval.
Gambhir said, “The last five weeks have been very exciting for both the countries, the kind of cricket that has been played, I am sure every cricket lover will be proud.”
England are currently leading 2-1, but India have a chance to level the series. Gambhir said in an enthusiastic tone,
“Both the teams have put in a lot of effort and fought for every inch. We have one more week left, one last effort and one more chance to make our country and people proud.”
Celebrations at India House
The Indian High Commission in London organized a grand welcome ceremony for the Indian team, which was attended by community leaders, MPs and many fans. During this, Gambhir also gifted a signed bat to Deputy High Commissioner Sujit Ghosh.
India’s High Commissioner to the UK Vikram Doraiswami praised the team and said,
“It has been a fantastic series, played with full spirit. But the best part is that we have got a chance to see Test cricket played the way it should be played – matches lasting the full five days, hard-fought matches.”
IND vs ENG: Captain Gill’s brilliance
Captain Shubman Gill also caught everyone’s attention by scoring more than 700 runs in the series. He said,
“Before the start of the series I felt that I had not really performed at my best and I was working hard on my game before the series because I wanted to prove myself.”

ECB CEO Richard Gould said, “Each of the four Test matches so far has gone on till the fifth day… It is difficult to remember a Test series that has really resonated so deeply.”
Now the final Test to be held at the Oval on Thursday will decide who will be the superstar of the series.
