The second day of the ongoing fifth Test match between India and England at the Oval was spicy, there was a heated atmosphere on the field when a heated argument broke out between Indian bowler Prasidh Krishna and England batsman Joe Root.
But the real drama started when KL Rahul clashed with umpire Kumar Dharmasena.

What is the whole matter?
Actually, this ruckus happened in the 22nd over of England’s first innings. Prasidh Krishna bowled to Joe Root and then there was some heated talk between the two.
Nothing was heard clearly in the stump mic, but Prasidh’s anger and body language were telling that the matter was serious.
The umpires had to immediately intervene and calm both of them down. Joe Root, who is usually cool-cool, remained silent this time too, but did not back down.
Now the story did not end here. KL Rahul was seen clashing with umpire Dharmasena. Rahul angrily said,
“What, you want us to just stay quiet?”
The umpire replied, “Would you like a bowler to come and talk to you like that? No, you can’t do that. No Rahul, we shouldn’t be doing this.”
But Rahul was not going to listen! He immediately retorted,
“What do you want us to do? Just bat, bowl and go home?”
The umpire ended the debate by saying, “We’ll talk about this at the end of the match. You can’t talk like that.”
After lunch, the Indian team was in full spirits. Their aggression was clearly visible on the field. India strengthened their hold in the match by taking the wickets of Joe Root and Jacob Bethell.
Being the last Test of the series, both the teams were leaving no stone unturned. Mohammad Siraj also showed his magic and achieved a big record by taking the wicket of the England captain.
Now it remains to be seen how many more twists this Test match brings.
