Ravindra Jadeja breaks MS Dhoni’s six-hitting record during the IND vs WI 1st Test in Ahmedabad. The all-rounder smashed his way past Dhoni’s total of 78 sixes in Tests. Jadeja hit four massive sixes in his quick-fire 50 runs against the West Indies bowlers.

His total now stands at 79 sixes, making him India’s new six-hitting king forever. Jadeja walked in after KL Rahul got out following his brilliant century earlier. The Gujarat star wasted no time and started attacking from ball one itself.

    Jadeja’s Explosive Half-Century

Ravindra Jadeja breaks MS Dhoni’s six-hitting record while racing to his fifty against the Windies. He looked in complete control throughout his innings at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The left-hander targeted the shorter boundaries and cleared them with ease repeatedly today.

Each six brought him closer to Dhoni’s record, which stood for many years. Jadeja finally overtook his former captain with another big hit over the midwicket boundary. The crowd went wild after realising they’d witnessed history being made right there.

India’s Dominant Position in the Match

India’s bowlers had already put the West Indies under pressure by putting them on 162/10. Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah ripped through their batting lineup with sharp spells. The visitors never recovered from losing early wickets on a helpful pitch here.

KL Rahul then scored a magnificent hundred to put India ahead in the IND vs WI 1st Test. Shubman Gill supported him well with a solid half-century at the other end. The partnership laid a strong foundation before Jadeja came in to accelerate things.

    All-Round Excellence Continues

Ravindra Jadeja breaks MS Dhoni’s six-hitting record, which adds another feather to his cap. The all-rounder keeps proving why he’s invaluable to India’s Test team. His ability to score quick runs down the order changes matches in sessions.

Jadeja’s performance in this inning showed his cricketing mindset in the IND vs WI 1st Test. He continues to excel as both a batsman and bowler for Team India, usually now.
