IPL 2025 is now moving towards its final stage, the news that fans were waiting for about the final has arrived.
Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will once again host the final, and the venues for the two playoff matches have also been decided. Let’s know the complete details.

IPL 2025 Final and Playoff Schedule
Now it will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 3 June 2025. Ahmedabad will also host Qualifier 2 on 1 June.
This stadium is famous for its huge size and tremendous atmosphere, and has also hosted the final in 2022-23.
The final was scheduled to be held on 25 May at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, but the venue and date were changed due to security concerns and weather uncertainty.
On 9 May, the IPL was suspended for a week due to escalating tensions along the India-Pakistan border.
The tournament resumed on May 17, and now the remaining 17 matches are being played across 6 cities, including Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi and Lucknow.

Narendra Modi Stadium
The Narendra Modi Stadium, located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat is the world’s largest cricket stadium, with a capacity of 1,32,000 spectators. Renovated in 2020, it has hosted the IPL finals in 2022 and 2023 and the World Cup final in 2023.
It will host the IPL final for the third time in 2025. It has 11 pitches, advanced drainage, LED lights, club house, and environmental facilities. It is managed by the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA).
