    IPL 2025: Klaasen’s Blazing Ton Powers SRH to Record 110-Run Win Over KKR!

    Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 110 runs in the 68th match of IPL 2025 played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

    Sunrisers Hyderabad batted first and scored 278/3 in 20 overs, in response to which Kolkata Knight Riders were reduced to 168/10 in 18.4 overs.

    Brilliant performances from Heinrich Klaasen (105), Travis Head (76), and Harsh Dubey (3/34) played a key role in Hyderabad’s victory.

    SRH to Record 110-Run Win Over KKR

    1st innings: Sunrisers Hyderabad 278/3 (20 overs)

    Hyderabad got off to an explosive start, with Abhishek Sharma (32 runs, 16 balls) and Travis Head (76 runs, 40 balls) sharing a 92-run partnership for the first wicket.

    Heinrich Klaasen (105 runs, 39 balls) completed his century in 37 balls and added 83 runs for the third wicket with Ishan Kishan (29 runs, 20 balls).

    Klaasen and Aniket Verma (12* runs, 6 balls) remained unbeaten in the end to take the score to 278. This is the third-highest score in IPL history.

    Sunil Narine (2/42) was the most successful bowler for Kolkata, while Vaibhav Arora (1/39) took one wicket.

    279 runs Chasing a huge target, Kolkata got off to a poor start. Sunil Narine (31 runs, 16 balls) and Ajinkya Rahane (15 runs, 8 balls) added 37 runs for the first wicket, but Jaydev Unadkat (3/24) dismissed both of them early.

    Harsh Dubey (3/34) dismissed Andre Russell (0) and Rinku Singh (9) on consecutive balls to reduce Kolkata to 70/5. Manish Pandey (37 runs, 23 balls) and Harshit Rana (34 runs, 21 balls) showed some resistance, but Ishan Malinga (3/31) took the last wicket to bundle out Kolkata for 168.

    The decisive moment of the match came in the 8th over, when Harsh Dubey took the wicket of Rinku Singh (9) and Andre Russell (0) were dismissed on consecutive balls to reduce Kolkata to 70/5.

    This double blow completely destroyed Kolkata’s innings, and Sunrisers Hyderabad registered a stunning victory by 110 runs.
