When Lucknow Super Giants bought Rishabh Pant for Rs 27 crore, it was not just a purchase but a big sensational twist in the entire cricketing world. Pant, who is the former captain of Delhi Capitals, has now become the most expensive player in the history of IPL.
Sanjiv Goenka himself told in a video how a video of Pant won his heart, where he presented an amazing sample of his intelligence and strategy under pressure.

Apart from this, Lucknow Super Giants have picked some foreign players in the auction who can prove to be a game changer for the team. Nicholas Pooran was retained for Rs 21 crore, while South African stars Aiden Markram and David Miller also joined the team.
David Miller was the most expensive foreign player at Rs. 7.50 crore. The selection of Australian T20 captain Mitchell Marsh is also being considered a strategic decision.
