    Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 2 runs in the 52nd match of IPL 2025 played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

    RCB batted first and scored 213/5 in 20 overs, in response to which Chennai could only score 211/5 in 20 overs.

    The brilliant performance of Romario Shepherd (53* runs, 14 balls) and Lungi Ngidi (3/30) played a decisive role in RCB’s thrilling victory.

    RCB got off to an explosive start, with Jacob Bethell (55 runs, 33 balls) and Virat Kohli (62 runs, 33 balls) sharing a 97-run partnership for the first wicket.

    In the middle overs, Devdutt Padikkal (17) and captain Rajat Patidar (11) were out early, but in the last overs, Romario Shepherd (53* runs, 14 balls, 4 fours, 6 sixes) batted explosively and took the score to 213.
