Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by a huge margin of 100 runs in the 50th match of IPL 2025 played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Mumbai batted first and scored 217/2 in 20 overs, in response to which Rajasthan were reduced to 117/10 in 16.1 overs.
Brilliant performances from Rohit Sharma (53), Suryakumar Yadav (48*), and Jasprit Bumrah (2/15) played a key role in Mumbai’s victory.

Mumbai got off to a great start, with Ryan Rickelton (61 runs, 38 balls) and Rohit Sharma (53 runs, 36 balls) sharing a 116-run partnership for the first wicket.
Suryakumar Yadav (48* runs, 23 balls) and captain Hardik Pandya (48* runs, 23 balls) made an unbeaten partnership of 94 runs for the third wicket to take the score to 217.
For Rajasthan, Mahesh Teekshna (1/47) and Riyan Parag (1/12) took a wicket each, but the other bowlers proved expensive.

Jofra Archer (30 runs, 27 balls) showed some resistance, but Karn Sharma (3/23) and Trent Boult (3/28) took wickets at regular intervals to bundle out Rajasthan for 117.
Jasprit Bumrah (2/15) and Hardik Pandya (1/2) also bowled effectively for Mumbai.

This double blow completely devastated Rajasthan’s batting, and they could never get close to the target again.
Mumbai registered a comfortable 100-run win with the wicket of Trent Boult in the 16.1st over.
