Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 54 runs in the 45th match of IPL 2025 played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Mumbai batted first and scored 215/7 in 20 overs, in response to which Lucknow was reduced to 161/10 in 20 overs.
Jasprit Bumrah’s 4/22 and Suryakumar Yadav’s 54-run innings played an important role in Mumbai’s stunning victory.

Mumbai got off to a quick start, with Ryan Rickelton (58 runs, 32 balls) and Rohit Sharma (12 runs, 5 balls) adding 33 runs. Will Jacks (29) and Suryakumar Yadav (54 runs, 28 balls) batted aggressively in the middle overs.
