Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Rajat Patidar is back in action, After suffering a finger injury on his right hand, he is now ready to show his magic with the bat.

Rajat Patidar’s Explosive Comeback
The injury he suffered while fielding against Chennai Super Kings on May 3 troubled him for 10 days, but now he is back.
On Thursday, during RCB’s training session, Patidar batted for more than 30 minutes in the nets and it seemed as if the injury had no effect.
Patidar started with light throwdowns and then played shots with all his might. There was light taping on his finger, but there was no problem in batting. However, he has not yet practiced fielding or catching.
If he takes the field fully fit, it will be a big boost for RCB. The team is currently second in the points table with 8 wins in 11 matches. They need at least two more wins to secure a place in the top-2, which will be the first time since 2016.
RCB captain Rajat Patidar makes a sensational comeback
Patidar’s return is even more important for RCB as Devdutt Padikkal has been ruled out of the tournament due to a hamstring injury. He has been replaced by Mayank Agarwal, who mostly opens the innings.
Apart from this, Jacob Bethell will also not be in the playoffs due to international commitments. In such a situation, Patidar being fit is no less than a big win for the team.
However, Patidar’s form has wavered a bit in the last few matches. He batted explosively at the start of the season, but his best score in the last five matches has been just 23 runs.
Patidar’s performance
So far this season, he has scored 239 runs in 10 innings at a strike rate of 140.58. His last big score was 64 runs in 32 balls against Mumbai Indians.
However, now everyone’s eyes are on Patidar. Will he regain his old form and take RCB to the top-2 or not, however, the next match against Kolkata Knight Riders will be a big test for him and the team.
RCB fans are just praying that Patidar’s bat spits fire again and RCB’s path to victory becomes easy.
