    Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 6 wickets in the 66th match of IPL 2025 played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

    Punjab Kings batted first and scored 206/8 in 20 overs, in response to which Delhi Capitals won by scoring 208/4 in 19.3 overs.

    Stellar performances from Sameeksha Rizvi (58*), Karun Nair (44), and Mustafizur Rahman (3/33) played a key role in Delhi’s victory.

    DC to 6-Wicket Win Over PBKS!

    1st innings: Punjab Kings 206/8 (20 overs)

    Punjab got off to a poor start, with Priyansh Arya (6 runs, 9 balls) getting out early. Josh Inglis (32 runs, 12 balls) and Prabhsimran Singh (28 runs, 18 balls) shared a 47-run stand for the second wicket.

    Captain Shreyas Iyer (53 runs, 34 balls) scored a half-century, but Punjab remained under pressure as wickets fell at regular intervals. Marcus Stoinis (44* runs, 16 balls) played a quick innings in the end to take the score to 206.

    For Delhi, Mustafizur Rahman (3/33) was the most successful bowler, while Vipraj Nigam (2/38) and Kuldeep Yadav (2/39) took two wickets each.

    207 runs Delhi got off to a fast start chasing the target of 52. KL Rahul (35 runs, 21 balls) and Faf du Plessis (23 runs, 15 balls) added 55 runs for the first wicket. Karun Nair (44 runs, 27 balls) and Sameeksha Rizvi (58* runs, 25 balls) made important partnerships for the third and fourth wickets.

    Rizvi completed his half-century in 22 balls and remained unbeaten along with Tristan Stubbs (18* runs, 14 balls) to take Delhi to victory in 19.3 overs.

    For Punjab, Harpreet Brar (2/41) took two wickets, while Marco Jensen (1/41) and Praveen Dubey (1/20) took one wicket each.

    The decisive moment of the match came in the 19th over, when Samiksha Rizvi smashed a six and a single off Arshdeep Singh’s over to score 14 runs, leaving Delhi needing just 8 off the final over.

    Rizvi and Stubbs scored with ease in the final over to give Delhi a sensational 6-wicket win, denting Punjab’s hopes of a top-two finish.
