In this explosive match played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, the bowlers of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) performed brilliantly. But the most headlines were made by Shardul Thakur, who destroyed SRH’s batting by taking 4 wickets.

SRH scored 190/9 in 20 overs, but they had a bad start and the LSG bowlers did not leave any chance.

IPL 2025: Shardul Thakur's havoc, broke the back of SRH by taking 4 wickets!

Shardul Thakur’s brilliance – destroyed SRH’s top order!

This star bowler of LSG kept SRH under pressure throughout the match with his swing and variation.

    • First strike: Abhishek Sharma (6) caught by Nicholas Pooran in 2.1 overs.
    • Rishabh Pant sent Ishan Kishan (0) back to the pavilion on the very next ball.
    • In 16.2 overs, he also dismissed Abhinav Manohar (2).
    • In 18.3 overs, he dismissed Mohammed Shami (1) and ended whatever little hope SRH had.

    Mixed performance of SRH batsmen

However, some SRH batsmen tried to handle the team.

    • Travis Head – 47(28) | 5 fours, 3 sixes
    • Aniket Verma – 36(13) | 5 sixes
    • Nitish Kumar Reddy – 32(28) | 2 fours
    • Heinrich Klaasen – 26(17) | 2 fours, 1 six
    • Pat Cummins – 18(4) | 3 Sixes
    • Harshal Patel – 12(11)
    • Simarjit Singh – 3(4)

    Great performance by LSG bowlers

    • Avesh Khan – 4 overs, 45 runs, 1 wicket.
    • Ravi Bishnoi – 4 overs, 42 runs, 1 wicket.
    • Digvesh Singh – 4 overs, 40 runs, 1 wicket.
    • Prince Yadav – 4 overs, 29 runs, 1 wicket.

Now it will be interesting to see whether LSG’s batting lineup is able to achieve the target of 191 runs or not.

Will KL Rahul and Nicholas Pooran be able to reach this target, or will SRH bowlers counterattack? The answer will be known soon!
