    IPL 2025: Shubman–Buttler Duo’s 140 Runs Power GT to 38-Run Win Over SRH!

    Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 38 runs in the 51st match of IPL 2025 played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

    Gujarat batted first and scored 224/6 in 20 overs, in response to which Hyderabad could only score 186/6 in 20 overs.

    Brilliant innings from Shubman Gill (76) and Jos Buttler (64) along with effective bowling from Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna played a key role in Gujarat’s victory.

    First innings: Gujarat Titans 224/6 (20 overs)

    Gujarat got off to an aggressive start, with Sai Sudarshan (48 runs, 23 balls) and captain Shubman Gill (76 runs, 38 balls) adding 87 runs for the first wicket.

    Jos Buttler (64 runs, 37 balls) batted explosively in the middle overs, while Washington Sundar (21) made a useful contribution.

    Shahrukh Khan (6*) and Rahul Tewatia (6) scored quick runs in the final overs.

    Jaydev Unadkat (3/35) was the most successful bowler for Hyderabad, while Pat Cummins and Zeeshan Ansari took one wicket each.

    Chasing a target of 225 runs Hyderabad got off to a bad start with Travis Head (20) getting out early.

    Abhishek Sharma (74 runs, 41 balls) scored a brilliant half-century, but the innings faltered as wickets fell at regular intervals.

    Heinrich Klaasen (23) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (21*) showed some resistance, but excellent bowling from Prasidh Krishna (2/19) and Mohammed Siraj (2/33) restricted Hyderabad to 186/6.

    Decisive moment of the match

    The decisive moment of the match came in the 15th over, when Ishant Sharma dismissed Abhishek Sharma (74) to reduce Hyderabad to 139/3. Soon after, Prasidh Krishna dismissed Heinrich Klaasen (23), reducing Hyderabad to 141/4.

    These two big blows dashed Hyderabad’s hopes of a comeback, and Gujarat registered a comfortable 38-run win.
