    Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 6 wickets in the 62nd match of IPL 2025 played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

    Chennai Super Kings batted first and scored 187/8 in 20 overs, in response to which Rajasthan Royals won by scoring 188/4 in 17.1 overs.

    Vaibhav Suryavanshi (57), Dhruv Jurel (31*), and Akash Madhwal (3/29) played an important role in Rajasthan’s victory.

    First innings: Chennai Super Kings 187/8 (20 overs)

    Chennai got off to a quick start, but Devon Conway (10 runs, 8 balls) and Urvil Patel (0 runs, 2 balls) were dismissed early. Ayush Mhatre (43 runs, 20 balls) played a quick innings, but Ravichandran Ashwin (13 runs, 8 balls) and Ravindra Jadeja (1 run, 5 balls) returned to the pavilion cheaply.

    Dewald Brevis (42 runs, 25 balls) and Shivam Dube (39 runs, 32 balls) added 59 runs for the sixth wicket. MS Dhoni (16 runs, 17 balls) was eventually dismissed, and Chennai were bundled out at 187/8.

    Yudhvir Singh Charak (3/47) and Akash Madhwal (3/29) took three wickets each for Rajasthan.

    Chasing the target of 188 runs, Rajasthan had an aggressive start. Yashasvi Jaiswal (36 runs, 19 balls) and Vaibhav Suryavanshi (57 runs, 33 balls) added 37 runs for the first wicket. Sanju Samson (41 runs, 31 balls) and Vaibhav shared a 98-run partnership for the second wicket.

    Riyan Parag (3 runs, 4 balls) was dismissed early, but Dhruv Jurel (31* runs, 12 balls) and Shimron Hetmyer (12* runs, 5 balls) remained unbeaten to give India victory in 17.1 overs.

    Ravichandran Ashwin (2/41) took two wickets for Chennai, but the other bowlers were expensive.

    The decisive moment of the match came in the 14th over, When Ravichandran Ashwin dismissed Sanju Samson (41) and Vaibhav Suryavanshi (57) in successive overs, Rajasthan were reduced to 138/3.

    However, Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer scored in quick succession to give Rajasthan a comfortable 6-wicket win in 17.1 overs.
