In the 11th match of IPL 2026, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 43 runs, powered by a sensational batting performance.

Played at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, the match saw RCB bat first and post a formidable total of 250 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
In response, the CSK team was bowled out for 207 runs in 19.4 overs.
RCB Posts Massive Score Thanks to Tim David’s Explosive Batting
RCB got off to a brisk start. Phil Salt scored 46 runs off 30 balls, while Virat Kohli contributed 28 runs off 18 deliveries.
Following them, Devdutt Padikkal played a magnificent innings, scoring 50 runs off 29 balls.
However, the real fireworks were witnessed in the final overs. Captain Rajat Patidar played an unbeaten knock of 48 runs off just 19 balls.
Meanwhile, Tim David went on a rampage against the bowlers the moment he stepped onto the field. He smashed 70 runs off just 25 balls, an innings studded with 8 sixes and 3 fours.
RCB thus posted a colossal total of 250/3 in their 20 overs. CSK’s bowlers proved to be quite expensive in this match, with none of them able to stem the flow of runs.
CSK Fails to Recover from Early Setbacks
Chasing a massive target of 251 runs, CSK got off to a disastrous start. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Sanju Samson were dismissed early. The team had lost three key wickets with only 30 runs on the board.
Subsequently, Sarfaraz Khan rekindled some hope in the match by scoring 50 runs off 25 balls.
Prashant Veer also played a fine innings, contributing 43 runs off 29 balls. Jamie Overton chipped in with a quickfire 37 runs off 16 balls.
For RCB, Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivered a brilliant bowling performance, claiming 3 wickets. Abhinandan Singh and Krunal Pandya also picked up 2 wickets each.
Ultimately, the entire CSK team was bundled out for 207 runs, and RCB won the match by 43 runs.
