It is not possible that there is a cricket match between India and Pakistan and there is no ruckus.

In the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025, India Champions and Pakistan Champions are going to clash in Birmingham on July 20.
But this time there is more ruckus on social media than on the field.
Former Indian cricketers like Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina and Irfan Pathan are being criticized on social media.
“Is deshbhakti only for common people?
In fact, after the Pahalgam attack, tensions between India and Pakistan are at their peak, and in such a situation, some people are not liking these legends taking the field with Pakistani players.
One user even tweeted, “Dhawan and Afridi pretended to be patriotic in the war, and now they are playing against each other on Sunday. Is patriotism only for the common people?”
After the Pahalgam attack, Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi had made controversial statements against India and PM Modi on social media.
In response, Shikhar Dhawan tweeted in April, “We were defeated in Kargil too, how low will you stoop? Use your mind in the progress of your country @SAfridiOfficial. Bharat Mata ki Jai!”
Now that these two teams are facing each other in the WCL, people are calling it hypocrisy.
Another user wrote, “Stars like Harbhajan, Yuvraj, Dhawan are playing with Pakistan in private leagues, but sing patriotic songs in public. Why is the government silent?”
Second season of WCL
The second season of WCL is going on in England from 18 July to 2 August. Teams from India, Pakistan, Australia, West Indies, South Africa and England are participating in it.
India Champions has stars like Ambati Rayudu, Yusuf Pathan, Robin Uthappa under the captaincy of Yuvraj Singh, while Pakistan Champions includes names like Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik.
In 2024, India won the title by defeating Pakistan in the final, and this time too the fans are eyeing this high-voltage match.
But questions are being raised on social media whether these cricketers are playing only for money?
A fan wrote, “It has not even been 90 days since the Pahalgam attack, and these people are going to play cricket with Pakistan. Where has the patriotism gone?”
