The atmosphere in Bengaluru is hot, as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have ended an 18-year drought by winning the IPL 2025 title.

Fans are overjoyed, and now they are eager to celebrate with their champion team.
Earlier it was reported that the Bangalore Police did not approve RCB’s victory parade due to traffic and crowd.
But, RCB surprised everyone by announcing that there will be a victory parade, and that too with pomp and show!
What is RCB’s plan?
RCB gave the good news to fans on its official X account that the parade will start today, June 4 at 5 pm.
This parade will start from Vidhan Soudha and go to M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. After this there will be a grand celebration in the stadium. RCB has appealed to the fans to follow the rules of the police and authorities so that the celebration remains peaceful and fun.
Before the parade, the team will meet Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at Vidhan Soudha.
Why did the police stop them?
Earlier, the Bangalore Traffic Police had posted on X that there would be no open bus parade due to traffic jams and crowds. They had said that the felicitation ceremony would be held only at the Chinnaswamy Stadium from 5 to 6 pm, and that too only for those with valid passes.
The police had advised fans to avoid the roads around Vidhan Soudha and the stadium from 3 pm to 8 pm and use the metro or public transport.
But RCB made it clear that they will not disappoint the fans and the parade will definitely take place!
How did RCB’s 18-year wait end
RCB won their first IPL title by defeating Punjab Kings by 6 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. The team, led by Rajat Patidar, scored 190 runs, and then the bowlers performed brilliantly and restricted Punjab to 184.
Virat Kohli, who has been with RCB for 18 years, got emotional with this victory. Fans also took to the streets, and the slogan ‘E Saala Cup Namde’ has now become a reality!
