A new debate has started among Indian cricket fans, and the reason for this is the explosive statement of Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh.
Yograj has claimed that fast bowler Mohammed Siraj can become India’s greatest all-rounder.
His statement has spread on social media like wildfire, and everyone is talking about it.

Yograj said in a recent interview,
“I have always said about Mohammed Siraj that he has become a very good bowler. If someone pays attention to his batting, this person, who is now a fast bowler, if he bats for two hours in the nets, he can become the greatest all-rounder, just like he sweats with the ball.”
He believes that if coach Gautam Gambhir and his team work hard on Siraj’s batting, he can do wonders with the bat as well as bowling.
Yograj also said that Siraj won matches for India with his bowling in the Test series against England even in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah.
“The impact he has had shows the strength and resilience of India as a bowling unit that can win matches for India even in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, if the Indian batsmen can add some runs to the scoreboard,” added Yograj.
Siraj’s performance in the Test series against England was excellent. He took 23 wickets in the series and became the highest wicket-taker. Especially his 9 wickets in the Oval Test won everyone’s heart.
However, his batting disappointed a bit in the Lord’s Test, when India lost by 22 runs. But Siraj did not give up and surprised everyone with his bowling in the last Test.
Will Siraj play Asia Cup 2025?
Siraj’s schedule is also in the news. After bowling the most overs in the England series, the question now is whether he will be able to play in the Asia Cup 2025 starting on September 9?
After this, there is also a Test series against West Indies from October 2. Siraj recently made a brilliant comeback for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025, but his workload remains a matter of concern.
