Before the third Test to be held at Lord’s, former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin has made a big claim.

He says that the trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Akashdeep will leave England’s bowling attack in the dust.
According to Azhar, India’s current fast bowling attack is much better than England. And when Bumrah returns to Lord’s, India will have an even bigger edge.
Bumrah’s explosive comeback
India registered a thumping 336-run win in the second Test at Edgbaston. Siraj and Akashdeep performed brilliantly in this victory. Siraj took six wickets, while Akashdeep stunned England by taking 10 wickets.
But now with Bumrah’s return to Lord’s, India’s bowling will become more dangerous. Bumrah has taken five wickets in the first Test and his record has been excellent at a historic ground like Lord’s.
India won here in 2014 and 2021, and now it is set to repeat history again.
Azharuddin said, “The team played brilliantly at Edgbaston. Bumrah’s return will add more edge to the bowling. Our attack is better than England.”
The pair of Siraj and Akashdeep troubled the England batsmen a lot in Birmingham. Now this trio along with Bumrah is ready to create havoc at Lord’s.
All-rounders like Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja also strengthen India’s bowling. On the other hand, England has bowlers like Josh Tongue, but India’s depth and variety can be a challenge for them.
Shubman Gill’s bat will also roar
Shubman Gill is in great form in batting. His innings of 269 and 161 runs at Edgbaston gave India victory. With 585 runs and three centuries in four innings, Gill has been a headache for England bowlers.
India’s record at Lord’s may have been weak against England, but the current form and confidence makes India the favorite.
For now, the third Test starting at Lord’s on July 10 will be full of excitement for cricket fans. India will try to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
If Gill’s bat works along with the trio of Bumrah, Siraj and Akashdeep, it will be difficult for England. Whether Azhar’s claim will prove to be true or not, it will be known on the field.
