Team India has won the title of this big tournament for the third time. After which Indian cricket veteran Hardik Pandya has recently won everyone’s heart with his smart and funny talks.
His cool answer on not going to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has impressed the fans a lot.

Hardik’s smart answer on refusal to go to Pakistan
Actually, after winning the CT 2025 final, when Hardik Pandya was asked why Team India did not go to Pakistan, he answered very cleverly.
Hardik told reporters, “I am sure the Pakistani people living in Dubai must have enjoyed our performance. The question of why we did not go is far above my pay level.”
Hardik Pandya also described this victory as “revenge” for the defeat to Pakistan in the 2017 final.
In 2017, India had to face defeat against Pakistan in the final of the Champions Trophy. After that defeat, now after 8 years, Team India has sweetened this bitter experience by winning this title.
Hardik said, “I have always played cricket to win. This is not just to say one thing. I have always put the team above myself. It does not matter whether Hardik Pandya does well or not, but the team should do well.”
India’s spectacular victory and controversy in CT 2025
The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma won the Champions Trophy 2025 title by defeating New Zealand by four wickets in a thrilling final match played in Dubai on Sunday, March 9. But this victory was not without controversy.
During the tournament, many current and former cricketers claimed that the Indian team got an “unfair advantage” as they were given the facility to play all their matches in Dubai. While other teams had to travel to different cities of Pakistan and even some in UAE.
Actually, the BCCI had refused to send the Indian team to Pakistan citing political tension and security reasons. After this the ICC had to adopt a hybrid model, under which all the matches of India were held in Dubai.
