Punjab Kings player Shashank Singh has made a big bang ahead of IPL 2025, He has revealed the entire playing XI of Punjab Kings for the first match against Gujarat Titans on March 25.

Speaking on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, Shashank told the entire strategy of his team without hesitation. He said that Josh Inglis and Prabhsimran Singh will play as openers for Punjab. The team’s new captain Shreyas Iyer will bat at number 3.
Strong Australian players like Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell have been kept for power hitting in the middle order. Shashank Singh himself and Nehal Wadhera will play the role of finisher.
Punjab Kings have very strong players in the bowling department. South Africa’s Marco Jensen and India’s Arshdeep Singh will lead the fast bowling. The spin department will have the pair of experienced Yuzvendra Chahal and Harpreet Brar.

In the same podcast, Shashank made another big claim. According to him, Punjab Kings will be one of the top two teams this season. He fearlessly said that defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are no match for Punjab.
“PBKS will be on top, if that doesn’t happen then I will accept all the trolling,” Shashank said.
According to Shashank, the top four teams in IPL 2025 will be Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians or Chennai Super Kings.
33-year-old Shashank Singh has a good record in IPL. He has so far scored 423 runs in 25 matches at an average of 35+ and a strike rate of 161+. Earlier he has been a part of teams like Delhi, Rajasthan and Hyderabad.
