Pakistan National Cricket Team’s first Test match against Bangladesh will start on August 21 in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The home team is trying its best, to take advantage and is strategizing ways to become the winner in the series. However, the planning of the home country to defeat the opponents has been revealed in terms of the playing XI.
Results are very important for both the team
The national stadium of Karachi will be the host to the second test match from August 30. These two matches hold further importance considering the security of berth in the summit clash of WTC
Both the teams couldn’t perform well, in the T20 World Cup, 2024. The approaching series will be the first international game for them to prove themselves. The home country was eliminated early right in the Group Stage under the captaincy of Babar Azam. While Bangla Tigers moved ahead to reach Super Eights.
PCB selection committee has believed extensively on the idea of including pace attack while including six pace bowlers. On the other hand, only one frontline spinner will be playing in the team in the form of Abrar Ahmed.
The spinner holds a grim chance to play. Since the weather may spoilsport and curtail the chance of Abrar Ahmad.
If the news coming from PTI is to be believed, Pakistan team management will rely on an all-out pace attack. The weather is likely to be cloudy with a heavy chance of rain interfering in between.
The pace bowling attack will be coming from Shan Masood (skipper) and Shaheen Afridi, Mir Hamza, Naseem Shah along with Khurram Shahzad as well as all-rounder Agha Salman who can also bowl spin.
Muhammad Hurraira is going to debut considering his recent superb performance that has pleased the Pakistan Team Management and has also scored a double ton against Bangladesh A in Darwin in July.
Expected Pakistan eleven that is going to play against Bangladesh are as follows:-
Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, Muhammad Hurraira, Shan Masood, Mohammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Agha Salman, Shaheen Afridi, Mir Hamza and Khurrum Shahzad or Mohammad Ali.
